good

entertaining, but the quotes at the end were going crazy for some reason. like those qoutes that go like "good", "that was horrible", "youre getting there." etc. there were a lot, i could tell, and they were just flashing by like one appears and dissapears, another one does the same, and so on really fast. like cycling. :P

pretty fun though, especially OD mode

hah very nice

i love it! i got to level 52 and just got stuck XP
there are too many circle similiar shapes! it could be a circle, a hexagon, a pentagon, a octagon, a...sevenagon, a dodecagon gahhh DX

fun

but the repetitive events bored me =/. Oh also, theres a glitch. The flamethrower, it uses gas, but if you die after you get t, it doesnt run out anymore.

ahhh

my dino 'sploded when i threw it too hard!

very fun game XD

fun

very fun. especially the red ball. it follows you, and it cant actually catch up to you unless you completely stop. but in small cracks, it was a killer.

this was totally copied XP

theres this one game, i forgot what it was called, i think galcon. it was like this, but without the part with the functions of the star systems. and they werent star systems, they were planets. and there were no defenders. anyways, the gameplay was practically the same.

galcon had better graphics, and is 6th in january's top 10 downloadable games. so just look up january's top 10 downloadable games.

The odds are that you played that game, and made this one. The similarities are way too common in both games. you should have at least given some credit to galcon.

but it was good i guess, 2 points off for copying, 2 more points off for quality.

I love Galcon, but it's not original either. I started playing VGA Planets waaay back, then Stars!, then Hegemony at Skotos, Master Of Orion, the list goes on. They are all derivative of each other, but with a new slant in each. I've played them all, and pulled ideas from them cos they're all great. But I'm trying to do my own thing here.

I played VGA Planets with a bunch of mates over the course of a couple of months, and I think that was the best gaming experience of my whole life. Anyone else here played VGA planets??

Galcon I think was the first space rts to work well at quick games, and thats what I've tried to learn from it. Thanks Phil for Galcon!!

very fun i admit

but it has a lot of room for improvement. first of all, probably the music, i dont think it matches the game style, or maybe im saying this because i made a 20 minute powerpoint with this song and had to listen to it over 30 times. second, there shouldnt be bigger fishes on the top of the ocean, it just seems wierd, i just think they should be on the bottom, where its darker. thirdly, i find it annoying that if youre just swimming straight left, and all of a sudden, a big fish swims directly into you and you die with no time to react. maybe make our line of sight bigger? fourth, the instructions are bugged or misleading. if you put a space bar with the words "boost S boost", one is going to think that the boost button is S. The menu is also misleading, it says INFO, and i thought i was going to see the instructions, but instead, i saw the authors and sites etc. fifth, i think you should put a lives thing in there, dying and losing everything can become very frustrating, and not the frustrating where you want to play it again to beat it. sixth, the boost circles were too small to catch, so getting one took at least 30 seconds to turn and everything.

I think you should put the full explanations in the game instead of in the authors comments.

But other than that...it was pretty good, the gameplay was fun, the wings were ingenious, and art style was amusing. An upgrade menu at the end of each day would be cool, as well as customizable or different fish you can be.

zomg!

i beat it twice and i was possessed by a monkey doll D:

anyways, nice game ;]

so..

so...lemme get this straight...youre in a war, and a guy dies from an arrow in his throat? i thought we were using guns and missles?

its so addicting!

they were frustrating, but addicting as well! and very clever, how the yellow spikes from behind the statue do not dissapear when it hits the floor, they only blend into teh background. i wouldnt have noticed that if not for a level that brought eht totem close to the floor. :P then again im rambling again

very nice!

I am a fair commentor and grader, though I may not see the game or movie like you, i have my own opinion. My comment may be rated as useless most of the time, but it follows the guidelines ask of. It has constructive criticism as well as my reasons.
